PART 2: Moulding Tea Cups

After 3 intense days, the clay was divided in little lumps, and distributed among different families living in Ghent. They were asked to mould the clay once more.

This time into an actual form: a cup that is and will be used in the tea ritual of part 3 (that we hope to repeat in the near future at other places, festivals, etc.).

In part 2 I needed to trust the process, let go of control, and surrender to whatever was to happen. I'm glad I did, because I love every cup that was created by all the families and then taken care of by ceramist Veerle Van Nuffelen.
